पुलवामा जिल्ह्यातील जम्मू श्रीनगर महामार्गावर गुरुवारी सीआरपीएफच्या ताफ्यावर झालेल्या भयंकर दहशतवादी हल्ल्यात 42 जवान शहीद झाले. या हल्ल्यानंतर देशभरात संतापाची लाट उसळली असून नागरिकांनी पाकिस्तानवर हल्ला करण्याची मागणी केली आहे. क्रिकेटपटू गौतम गंभीर देखील भडकला असून त्याने आता चर्चा खूप झाली युद्ध करा अशी मागणी केली आहे.

गौतमने ट्विटरवरून त्याचा राग व्यक्त केला आहे. ‘चला फुटिरतावाद्यांशी चर्चा करू, चला पाकिस्तानसोबत चर्चा करू पण आता यावेळेस टेबलवर चर्चा होणार नाही तर आता हे युद्ध भूमीतच व्हायला हवे. आता हद्द झाली’, असे ट्विट गौतम गंभीरने केले आहे. गौतम गंभीर सोबत माजी क्रिकेटपटू मोहम्मद कैफ याने देखील दहशतवाद्यांना धडा शिकवा अशी मागणी केली आहे.
गौतम गंभीर याच्या व्यतिरिक्त विरेंद्र सेहवाग, विराट कोहली, सुरेश रैना, रोहीत शर्मा यांनी या हल्ल्याचा निषेध केला आहे.
