मुंबईवर 26/11 ला झालेल्या दहशतवादी हल्ल्यानंतर आम्ही पाकिस्तानात विमाने घुसवू शकलो असतो आणि त्यांना धडा शिकवू शकलो असतो मात्र आम्ही असे केले नाही असे काँग्रेसचे नेते सॅम पित्रोडा यांनी म्हटले आहे. पित्रोडा यांनी पुलवामातील दहशतवादी हल्ला आणि त्यानंतर पाकिस्तानवर केलेल्या हवाई हल्ल्याबाबत त्यांची भूमिका मांडली. यावेळी ते म्हणाले ‘दहशतवादी हल्ले सतत होत असतात, मुंबईवरही हल्ला झाला होता आम्हीपण आत्ता जशी कारवाई केली तसे वागू शकलो असतो, पाकिस्तानात विमाने घुसवू शकलो असतो मात्र आम्ही तसे केले नाही, कारण जगाशी असं वागणं योग्य नाही’

पित्रोडा एवढ्यावरच थांबले नाहीत त्यांनी म्हटले की ’26/11 ला 8 जण आले आणि त्यांनी हल्ला केला. यासाठी तुम्ही संपूर्ण पाकिस्तानला जबाबदार धरू शकत नाही.काही लोकांसाठी पाकिस्तानमधल्या सगळ्या लोकांना जबाबदार ठरवणं चूक आहे. असा विचार करणं चूक आहे.’
