दिल्ली आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळावर सीमाशुल्क विभागाने सोने तस्करीचा पर्दाफाश केला. दुबईहून आलेल्या प्रवाशाच्या बॅगेतून 3.20 किलो सोने जप्त करण्यात आले आहे. या सोन्याची आंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारातील किंमत सुमारे 4.03 कोटी रुपये इतकी आहे. याप्रकरणी सीमाशुल्क कायदा, 1962 अंतर्गत गुन्हा नोंदवण्यात आला असून, पुढील तपास सुरू आहे.
दिल्लीतील इंदिरा गांधी आंतरराष्ट्रीय विमानतळावर सोमवारी दुबईहून आलेल्या एका हिंदुस्थानी नागरिकाला सीमाशुल्क विभागाच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनी स्पॉट प्रोफाईलिंगच्या आधारे अडवले. अधिकाऱ्यांनी प्रवाशाच्या समानाची कसून तपासणी केली असता फ्लोर स्रिंगममध्ये 3.20 किलो वजनाच्या सोनाच्या कांड्या सापडल्या. सामानाची तपासणी करताना पकडले जाऊ नये म्हणून प्रवाशाने ही युक्ती केली होती. मात्र अधिकाऱ्यांनी कसून तपासणी करत लपवलेले सोने जप्त केले.

On 19.10.2026, based on spot profiling, Customs officers at IGI Airport intercepted an Indian passenger arriving from Dubai (Flight EK-512).
A detailed search of his baggage found 3.20 kg of gold in rod form, concealed inside a floor spring.
Approx. value: ₹4.03 crore
